~We had the most amazing experience at Andaluz! The providers are incredible. I recommend them to everyone, as the experience of giving birth with these amazing women changed my life.

I gave birth to my first son at St. Vincent's. While it was a good hospital, I was disappointed at all the "intervening" you get at hospitals.  I couldn't eat, drink (other than ice chips) etc..  No one would leave me alone!  And very sad when it was time to push, I found out that I wouldn't have my doctor cause she wasn't "on call"!  My second son, I decided to go to Andaluz!  I WAS HOOKED!  My appts. were about an hour long, not rushed at all!  You walk in, they give you water or tea while you wait, you're sitting on a comfy couch with a play area.  Kids have a small play area to play too! I loved it sooo much, I had my 3rd there too.  I would NEVER go back to a hospital for a normal birth.
My kids were involved with the birth, I could have as many or as few people in the room with me.  Everything was up to ME, NOT an OB.  The midwives are WAY nice.  I even was given a massage one day when my feet were hurting.  They go out of their way to make you comfy and happy! Two Thumbs up for Andaluz Waterbirth Center.
Summer, Vancouver Mom of 3 (ages 7, 4, 2)

~Andaluz is a phenomenal place for prenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, and well woman check ups throughout the year.

~We have had both of our children with the Andaluz midwives, and they are fantastic!  The birthing rooms are wonderful and the care that the midwives provide is excellent.
KC, Tanasbourne Mom of 2 (9mo and 2)

My baby was born by candelight and caught by my own husband's hands.  It was a precious moment that I will carry with me forever.  I've never felt safer or happier.        HulaChicken

Choosing Andaluz for the birth of our third child was one of the best decisions we have ever made.  After two hospital births (in two different states), every moment of prenatal, labor & delivery, and postnatal care was absolutely wonderful in the hands of those incredible midwives.

~Dr. Ed is great.  I had a birth client use his knowledge and care support her through labor and I found his caring manner to be wonderful.  I refer to him for information for baby care and send many clients to the clinic.   Erica, NE Portland Mom of 3 (16, 9, 7)

Renaissance is a group of doulas who support families.  Doulas support birth at hospitals and at home in postpartum.  Having a baby in a birth center or at home is a first choice but if you have to be in hospital a doula can help the process feel more natural.        Erica, NE Portland Mom of 3 (16, 9, 7)
