~ A++. I love to shop second hand, and I
have done at least half of my clothing shopping at New to You. I like the
fact that they only sell good quality and mostly brand name clothes. This
makes it easier for me to shop - not having to look for hidden wear, stains,
etc. I have heard some people say they charge too much (most kids clothes
are $5 and under), but I think they are in the ballpark with other resale
stores' prices and the extra buck or two is worth it. They have a large play
area near the kids section for the kids to enjoy while you shop! McMinnville

~Huge store, ample parking, easy to find, plenty of room to push a stroller,
clothes are really clean, doesn't have a funny "consignment store" smell.
They have a whole section geared towards formal wear. Lots of brand new
items, I had a hard time finding anything that showed wear of any kind.
They also have great clearance sales. A good place to stop on your way to
the coast. Angie, Battleground Mom of 4 (10, 8, 3, 1)

~A great store for baby, children's and
maternity resale. I've found some really nice infant clothes, toys, and
accessories. Scribepal, Beaverton

~I love this store... it has so much stuff and
the prices are great.. I can even find clothes for my 13yr old.. shoes,
Robeez, and they have lots of sales where you even get a better deal...
There is a play area for the kiddos to play in while you shop, a dressing area
so they can try on the clothes and a bathroom is available too.. I know this
is important when shopping with little ones..
Korah, Hillsboro Mom of 6
~OH MY! What a find! This is the biggest place
I've seen with such a huge selection. I'm so used to shopping resale and only
having a few things to choose from in my kids' sizes. There is just soooo much
to choose from! The employees are really friendly and eager to help. Great kid
friendly store, too. It's my new favorite place! WOO-HOO!

~This store is under new ownership and it's a wonderful place to buy new or
gently worn clothes as well as trade some of your own! Bella Stella carries
fabulous slings, children's pants, wooden toys, and maternity items, to name a
few! I encourage moms-to-be and already moms to stop by Bella Stella (and be
sure to take your little ones as there is room to play)! NE Portland Mom of

~What
an amazing store! This is just what this part of town needed. This is a hip,
family friendly store that carries the true kid essentials. Quality (and
cheap!) resale clothes and gear, all kinds of baby carriers and slings,
beautiful shoes, thoughtful toys, the works. The play area is great and the
owner is really great. Places like this make me love having kids in Portland.

~This is a great kids and mamas store, it
has both new and consigned items and recently expanded and has a great play
area for your kids while you shop. The owners are really helpful and friendly.
They carry a lot of cool locally made items.
Angela, Portland Mom of 2
~Milagros is a very family friendly store with a good selection of gently used
clothes as well as fun locally made clothes. The cloth diapering section is
excellent with a lot to choose from. Often there are some great bargains on used
diaper covers as well. They have a play area that makes shopping there
easy and the owners are super nice and very active in the community. It's just a
very comfortable store and I always enjoy shopping there.
Maya, Alameda Mom of 2
~Milagros is such a great place that
it's worth a special trip across town. Great clothes, but the best part
is the new & used diaper supplies (they host a cloth diapering circle) and the
babywearing gear, which the staff is very knowledgeable about and will help you
try on & find the best choice for your needs. Also a decent supply of
breastfeeding bras & related stuff, better priced than the lactation clinic.
Jen, SW Portland Mom of 1 (6 mos.)
~Local goods, recycled goods, fair prices, great selection, wonderful
service, fun events, very community-oriented owners who are just lovely, lovely
people. Milagros is just a wonderful shop and I wish there were more shops like
it! Jenny, NE Portland Mom of 1

~Only kids' stuff and toys, furniture, etc. - has a lot of stuff but is
still small enough that you can keep track of your kids in the play area.
The items aren't perfect, but cheap. I like the fact that when I take
stuff in there to sell, they just pay me up front. I don't have to wait
for the item to sell to get cash.

~1 storey so better for moms with strollers and young kids. They have
a good sized kids' section and a play area, roomie. Better parking that
Spanky's Downtown. The only thing I remember that isn't so mom friendly
are the dressing rooms. They have curtains instead of doors - so you might
have a hard time with toddlers pulling the curtains back and revealing you and
everyone else in the dressing area!

~Denim and Frills has kids and maternity clothes, sometimes nursery
furniture, strollers, car seats, cribs, bottle warmers, pretty much
anything you need for your nursery. They are consignment, a lot like
Spanky's, but smaller.

~this
used store is the best! they take your used items and give you cash or
store credit when it sells. nice and clean. great staff. organized.
might be small but a perfect store. i have been going there for about 3
years and would never think twice going somewhere else...

~Really big, like 3 or more levels. Huge adult and women's
section, but not as much kids clothing. The play area is downstairs,
so you don't really want to leave your kids down there to go to other
levels. I found the location of the play area inconvenient and
parking is hard to find. If you want to look for women's clothing and
don't plan to bring kids or strollers - it's the place.
