Meets in front of the Manor House, rain or shine, explore the garden and its inhabitants.
There will be a weekly theme, with complementary activity or story. Families are welcome to bring a snack and enjoy the garden on their own following the hike. $2 per child, adults free.

Railroads in the Garden Tour

The Rose City Garden Railroad Society showcases between 8 and 12 of the club’s member layouts at their homes each year on our annual “Summer Tour”. A booklet (click for sample) is published each year showing each railroad on tour with a pictures and description of the layout.  Directions to each garden railroad is included, along with maps and suggestions for a great fun-filled day.  The booklets are sold at participating outlets for $10 each and each booklet entitles a carload of people to attend all railroads on the tour for that price


Champoeg Bluebird Day

Park staff and Prescott Bluebird Recovery Project volunteers team up to celebrate the return of the Western Bluebird to the park with fun and educational activities to support their efforts. Build or purchase a nest box. See bluebird-related exhibits, video presentations and a Junior Ranger program for kids. Enjoy some old-fashioned bird watching.
